Dear Jessica,
I am so sorry I hurt you and made you cry. You are the most beautiful thing in my life and I can’t believe I caused you so much pain by saying hurtful things. I know your work is very important to you and instead of supporting you I was focusing on my insecurities and saying things like you do not care for me. That was very wrong of me and I love you very much.
I know how much you care about me and the relationship and I appreciate everything you do. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to manage both the house and work and I respect you for that. I will try to help you in the house rather than expect you to do everything for me. Please tell me if there is anything more I can do because I want you to be happy with me.
You mean so much to me and I will say it once again: I love you and I am sorry for all the misunderstandings and the pain I caused by my awful behavior. Please forgive me so that we can move on.
Yours sincerely
Matthew

Subject: Apology for inability to follow request of appliance servicing
Dear Ms Roberts,
With reference to your request regarding the servicing of your water purifier (request number 898239H, dated 13/6/2012), we are sorry to say that we will not be able to service the appliance free of charge as you warranty period has expired on June 1, 2012. It has been a pleasure working for you and we hope our appliances continue to make your life easier. We are again sorry for not being able to respond to your request. Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely
Phil Clark

Sorry letters are to be written for accepting certain mistake done undoubtedly or doubted. What may be reason for writing sorry or apology letter it has to be written in way that it should convey the message in an appropriate form? The most important things to be written in the letter is reason for sorry and assurance of not making the same mistake in future. These can be formal or informal both types of letters. And way of writing goes along with the type of letter.

Subject: SORRY LETTER FOR RUDE BEHAVIOR
Dear, Melody
I am extremely sorry for my rude behavior with you on the occasion of my birthday party on 2nd of September, 2010 at my residence. I have rudely behaved with you and I even don’t talk with you. As you had came for my party and you were my guest I should be very thankful to you and would have been taken care of you. But on the day before my birthday our common friend Rita has told me that you were using some bad word for me in front of her. That’s the reason I kept that in my mind and behaved so badly with you. But afterwards I realize that Rita has just laying to me and the way I behaved with you was totally wrong. Please forgive me and accept my invitation for lunch party on tomorrow at my residence. If you don’t come then I will assume that you have not forgiven me.
Yours truly,

A Sorry letter to boss is written by an employee to his boss whom he has wronged. This is a humble letter expressing remorse and requesting forgiveness over the mistake done by the employee. The letter should be simple and sincere to warrant compassion and forgiveness on the sender by the recipient

Dear Boss
RE: Deepest Apologies
I am writing to express my sincere and deepest apologies over the error I made with regards to your appointment with Mr. Steward yesterday.
I admit that I was in a hurry while taking his call and thus, wrote down the wrong date for your appointment. I was not too well and had rushed the call to visit the washroom. I am so sorry to have caused you much inconvenience and embarrassment over my error. I have written personally to apologize to Mr. Steward over my carelessness.
Please forgive me. I assure you that I will not repeat such an error. This is my first in the 7 years I have been working with you. I will be more careful from now onwards.
Sincerely,
Sara
